Recently I have found myself totally obsessed with collars and ribbons. I can’t escape them. I found my new love after creating some neckwear for a test shoot recently and have now transitioned into full- blown obsession. Below are the beginnings as well as the inspiration.

This is a piece-by-piece review of your existing wardrobe in which we will consider which items should be kept, which may need alterations and which have lost their utility (in short, we’ll sort “the good, the bad and the ugly”!) Some of the criteria we will use to make these determinations are:

- Is the piece current or dated?
- Does it integrate well with other garments that you already own, as well as those that you may purchase?
- Does the piece fit well? Does the color complement your skin and hair color?
- Is it still suitable for your lifestyle and age? Does it reflect who you are now?
- What is the condition of the piece?

Did you know that typically, Americans wear only 20% of their clothes, 80% of the time? Like most of us, you may have fallen into an ‘outfit rut’. Once your wardrobe has been edited, I can show you how to create new outfits with your existing garments and accessories, using combinations that you may have never considered.

Shopping

Frequently, we’ll discover that a few specific additions are necessary to update and maximize your wardrobe; to enhance and develop your personal style, we will schedule a shopping trip, as needed. We’ll visit destinations specially selected with your image, your needs and your budget in mind. Along the way, you’ll come to understand what complements your style, coloring, features and proportions as well as how to recognize it quickly on the rack.

Follow-up Session

Your new pieces and those from your existing wardrobe are integrated at this stage. We’ll put together looks including accessories, I’ll photograph them for you and give them to you on a disc or email them to you for your own future reference. It makes getting dressed incredibly hassle-free. It’s a hands-on education in the secrets of style! The Personal Image Development program is most effective when followed through to this stage.
